The NFLOW, made by simulation software company E8IGHT (President Jin), obtained 1st grade on GS (Good Software) certification proving the company’s technology.

‘GS certification’ is an international software standard which includes function suitability, efficiency, usability, and secureness. GS 1st grade certified products become priority purchase objects in public organization projects. NFLOW got the highest grade of it.

NFLOW is a 3D CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) SW. CFD software helps users to do computer simulations instead of the actual product in designing level. CFD SW can be used from designing verification level to managing and maintenance level. It can be applied in various industries, where the fluid flow analysis is required, such as automotive, aerospace, civil engineering, electronics, and mechanic.

E8IGHT is preparing for launching a new product using the latest trending CFD solution method, LBM (Lattice Boltzmann Method). Comparing the LBM method to the existing CFD methods, it is easier to analyze the meso- and micro-scale fluid flows. For the reason, it might able to be applied on bio or semiconductor industry.

Fluid simulation is a technology which can be grafted to the core of 4th industrial revolution, AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality). President Jin mentioned “An auto designing by AI (Artificial Intelligence) or simulation through digital twin could improve the company competitiveness in not only designing industries but also in manufacturing industries. NFLOW is the best simulation SW to be adjusted for those industries. I promise to form the basis of AI and Digital Twin and to lead the country competitiveness.”

E8IGHT is providing its technology to K-water, Korea Expressway Corporation, Kumho E&C, and Taeyoung E&C.
