E8IGHT attending "The Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers Fall Conference"

Last week, Nov.13(Wed) ~ Nov.16(Sat), our E8IGHT Solution Research Support team attended 'The Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME) Fall Conference', held in the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC).

During the conference, targeting the advancement of mechanical academy and technology, many programs were held. Lot of people from industry-university of mechanical fields attended to the programs.

The domestic CFD S/W market is monopolized by foreign software. However, E8IGHT is the CFD S/W company providing our own program called ‘NFLOW’, by keeping contact with several organizations for latest technologies for better product.

E8IGHT is a member of several academies at home and abroad, doing a continuous research and program development, to provide better programs.

Attending the fall conference was also a part of the effort, catch up with the recent research trends in mechanical computational simulation.

The first day, our researcher Hoyong Jang and Jihyung Lee, from E8IGHT Solution Research Support team, attended to the CFD poster presentation session, each presented with titles of ‘SPH method for free surface problem and multi-phase flow’ and ‘SPH Based Improved Boundary Condition Using Fictitious Particles with Repulsive wall and Application in Simulation’.

Our Solution Research Support team found it beneficial attending the conference to know how the CFD analysis are used in designing processes from CFD interested industries and universities. Thanks for the effort of Solution Research for high-quality programs.

Not only the presentation, other sessions such as ‘the fluid dynamics and CFD’, ‘fluid turbulence’, or ‘CFD competition’ were salutary experience to view the research results of related fields.

Through improving NFLOW, with the purpose of increasing the interest in CFD S/W technology and particle based CFD, we promise you to be better E8IGHT!
